I was in Ballarat for one night only and popped over to this cute coffee shop this morning before my return to Melbourne. The flat white and the pear tart were AMAZING, but what sets this coffee shop apart from all the others I’ve visited in the last week in the Melbourne area is the extraordinary warmth and hospitality of the two women who were working this morning. I’m not a local, but they treated me like one. And the locals who came in were all called by name, and though the women were very busy, they carried on conversations with everyone and made everyone feel special and welcome. I wish I could give you 10 stars for what I witnessed today. You deliver excellent food and coffee but with a humanity that is remarkable.

Googled a decent coffee shop in Ballarat and this place showed up! It sure didn’t disappoint us. Really really really good coffee and one of the best chicken focaccia I’ve ever had. It was simple but packed full of flavours. Would definitely come back next time when I’m in Ballarat for work!

A teeny tiny spot that serves the best coffee and pastries! Absolutely the best Paine aux raisin I’ve had in a while! Space is a premium, but everyone seems to find a spot and the staff are so welcoming and helpful . Definitely worth getting your morning start here!

Cosy cafe serving lovely toasties, with windows facing the road, perfect for people watching. The staff were really really kind to let us dine in even though it was 30 min to closing on a Saturday. Mushroom and leek toastie was amazing, even without any protein! Saw this recommendation from someone else, truly a solid recommendation especially if you are a fun-guy (fungi) or enjoy mushrooms. Chai latte was nice and warming in winter. Thank you for the friendly service and delectable toasties!

Nice coffee but a very limited menu...Reuben sandwich was really good though (even it was lacking the sauerkraut)

Excellent coffee here. Very happy to recommend. We also enjoyed a breakfast pastry as we were in need of something quick and tasty. 5 out of 5 starts.

Tried the reuben, and a few cups of coffee. All of them are really good, especially the reuben. A small place but punching way above it's weight. Would love to return.
